The earth naturally provides us with minerals via food and water. Today, with current farming practices that deplete soil reserves of minerals, and water supplies which are polluted, it is becoming increasingly difficult to keep up with the body’s demand for minerals.
Minerals are essential to our health and each plays a unique and often multi-faceted role in our complex organism. All of our body processes depend upon the action of minerals to activate enzymes which perform the bodily functions we often take for granted. Cellular functions require a proper chain of events that starts with the mineral. For example, each time our heart beats it requires a molecule of Calcium and Magnesium, to form thoughts we require Potassium and Phosphorous…truly, minerals are the “spark of life”
However, minerals can often be difficult to break down and fully absorb, and so in the late 1800’s, Dr. Schuessler decided to prepare the minerals into microscopic doses. The tissue salt minerals are broken down by hand grinding them with a mortar and pestle to reduce their size, and then diluted in solution. This method of preparation ensures the minerals become rapidly and easily assimilated.
Tissue Salts have proven to be helpful in balancing many conditions in the body.
