We have a Part-time position for a friendly, positive Skin care and Cosmetics Specialist/ Advisor to join our team at the Beauty Counter of an Integrative Pharmacy. A back ground as an aesthetician is required as we carry spa level cosmetics and skin care such as Eminence Organics and Jane Iredale Mineral Makeup to mention a few. This is more than just a retail position as we are considered by our clientele as being "experts in our field" when it comes to advising our clients. We also pride ourselves on giving the best customer service in the business in addition to providing a very pleasant and unique shopping experience, which includes a large variety of clean, high performing, often organic products. A typical day on the job would include interacting with clients, giving expert advice on anything from cosmetics and skin care to assisting with hair care and body care.
You would also be required to receive and price product, stock shelves, organize samples etc, keep the cosmetics and skin care area clean and tidy, answer the phone, take special orders when required, do some ordering of product, help on cash as well as assist in other departments when necessary. We are also planning on getting a brow bar going in the near future so a background with brow waxing and tinting would be an asset. Some visual merchandising skills are also necessary for this job as we like to do monthly displays of product for various promotions and events. An ability to multi-task is necessary and we are often juggling several jobs at once, however our main focus is always on the customer which can include a more senior clientele and/or customers with various questions so being a people person is a must for this position.
